Women's Health Goulburn North East is seeking a strategic and values-driven Executive Manager Programs and Impact to lead our health promotion and prevention portfolio across the Goulburn Valley and North East regions of Victoria, including Mitchell Shire.

For more than 30 years, WHGNE has worked to improve women's health, safety and economic wellbeing. As a feminist health promotion and advocacy organisation, we use evidence to address the systemic inequalities that shape women's lives and outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Manager Programs and Impact is a key executive leadership position responsible for the strategic direction, performance and sustainability of WHGNE's health promotion and prevention portfolio. You will lead a team of Area Coordinators and Mobile Community Connectors, translating organisational strategy into coordinated regional action while ensuring excellence in program delivery, partnerships, governance and impact. 

The role is accountable for portfolio performance across the region, strengthening organisational capability, driving innovation and ensuring robust monitoring, evaluation, quality improvement and risk management practices. Working collaboratively with partners, stakeholders and communities, you will contribute to system-level change that advances gender equality, health and wellbeing outcomes for women. 

About You

You are an experienced leader with strong strategic, operational and people leadership capability. You bring experience in health promotion, prevention, public health, community services or a related field, and a commitment to gendered, intersectional and equity-focused practice. You will be confident leading teams, managing complex programs, building partnerships and driving measurable impact.

Location and Travel

Work from home. You will be located within the Goulburn Valley or North East regions of Victoria and frequent in person commitments (typically 2-3 days per week) will be required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role across the region.
