About The Orange Door

The Orange Door is transforming how we support women, children, families, and men. It offers:

• A visible and accessible contact point for specialist support.
• Risk assessment, safety planning, and tailored advice.
• A strong focus on perpetrator accountability.
• Coordination across prevention, early intervention, and response.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you’ll lead a team of Senior Practitioners and Practitioners, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based service delivery. You’ll work collaboratively across The Orange Door network, maintain strong relationships with partner organisations, and foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and excellence.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in social work or a related discipline (compliant with Family Violence Minimum Qualifications (Rec209).
• Experience supporting women, children, and families with complex needs across sectors such as family violence, child protection, housing, mental health, or AOD.
• Skilled in risk assessment and whole-of-family approaches.
• Proven leadership capabilities including mentoring and practice supervision.
• Resilient, collaborative, and committed to best practice.
• Current Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check (Employment category).
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening including police and identity checks.
