Join the Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (WDVCAS) at WASH House and play a vital role in supporting women and children experiencing domestic and family violence across the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Northwest Sydney areas.
As a DFV Specialist Worker, you'll provide trauma-informed intake, risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, court support, and referrals while working closely with Police, courts, Legal Aid, and community partners.This is a rewarding opportunity to empower women, improve safety outcomes, and contribute to coordinated responses that create lasting change.

We deliver a range of integrated services, including case management, counselling, therapeutic programs, skills building and social group programs, advocacy, and community engagement. We prioritise supporting our staff to deliver trauma informed, client centred and culturally safe services.
You're a compassionate, organised, and resilient practitioner with experience supporting people impacted by domestic and family violence or working in the community services sector. You bring a strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and feminist practice, and are confident working with women in crisis while building trusted relationships with partner agencies. You're an effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to advocating for the safety, dignity, and rights of women and children.
