What you’ll do

  • Lead and support all staff involved in the delivery of key services in MBC Casework and MBC Therapeutic Groupwork Program, and other Family Violence programs
  • Lead, manage and develop a high performing team
  • Partner with Practice Specialist and Government Relations to improve advocacy, relationship building and reporting for all relevant programs
  • Implement the appropriate framework and forms as part of the MBC program
  • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery and performance of services and programs provided across locations, including managing the budget, reporting and staff resources to this end
  • Along with key stakeholders develop and enhance RANSW’s role in the men’s behaviour change sector
  • Work closely with the Practice specialists and Centre Managers to meet contract and client deliverables

The details:

  • Newly created role - can be based from any of our Centres in Sydney – Macquarie Park, Sydney City, Northern Beaches, Parramatta, Blacktown, Penrith
  • Lead a significant program area
  • FTC – 30th June 2022 (possibility of extension)

What you’ll bring

  • Formal graduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant disciplines
  • Management experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in working with families that have been impacted by DFV
  • Understanding of men’s behaviour change practice
  • Financial and budget management experience
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management experience including implementation of new programs within the NFP sector
  • Experience in reporting and assisting with tender development
