Wesnet is Australia’s national peak body for specialist domestic and family violence services. We are dedicated to eliminating domestic and family violence. As an intersectional feminist organisation, we work to improve the social, political, and economic status of women while advocating for the safety and empowerment of those experiencing violence.
We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our business, procurement, data management, and administrative functions. This is a fixed term position for three years, with a possibility for extension dependent on funding, available as a full-time role (or 0.8 FTE by negotiation). You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the organisation and implementing business operational strategies alongside the CEO and Executive.
You will be part of Wesnet's highly engaged national team. If you are the successful applicant, you will ideally be based in our headquarters in Bendigo, and may occasionally be required to travel as part of the position. We are a remote and hybrid team working around Australia, and we have staff in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and regional Victoria.
Wesnet has recently been through significant growth in recent years and this is a new position for the organisation. The Board and CEO of Wesnet see the first year of this three-year contract as an opportunity for the incoming Operations Manager to review and optimize the business and operational services within Wesnet.
