Join the Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (WDVCAS) at WASH House and play a vital role in supporting women and children experiencing domestic and family violence across Northwest Sydney. Through a specialist, trauma-informed and culturally safe approach, WDVCAS prioritises the safety, dignity and wellbeing of victim-survivors by providing advocacy, court support, safety planning, referrals and coordinated responses.
As a WDVCAS Case Worker, you will provide trauma-informed case management to women experiencing domestic and family violence, including those with complex needs impacting their safety and wellbeing. Working collaboratively with police, courts, legal services and community agencies, you will deliver risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, referrals and ongoing case coordination to strengthen safety, stability and access to essential services.

We deliver a range of integrated services, including case management, counselling, therapeutic programs, skills building and social group programs, advocacy, and community engagement. We prioritise supporting our staff to deliver trauma informed, client centred and culturally safe services.
You are a compassionate and skilled practitioner with experience providing trauma-informed case management and support to women experiencing domestic and family violence, including those with complex needs impacting their safety and wellbeing. You are confident undertaking risk assessments, safety planning, advocacy, referrals and ongoing case coordination, and are committed to supporting women to strengthen their safety, stability and access to essential services.
You have strong communication and collaboration skills and can build effective working relationships with clients, police, courts, legal services and community agencies to deliver coordinated, client-centred responses. You work from a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach and are committed to supporting positive outcomes for women and children affected by domestic and family violence.
