About 3Bridges Community

3Bridges Community is a leading not for profit organisation delivering Aged Care, Outside School Hours Care and a broad range of community services across Greater Sydney. We provide services that strengthen families, support independence and build connection across all life stages.

We are a values led, purpose-driven organisation grounded in safety, wellbeing, dignity and trust, with a strong commitment to quality practice and accountability.

The Role

This is a hands on, organisation wide role within the Quality Assurance team, responsible for coordinating and strengthening work health and safety, facilities and fleet functions across our diverse service network.

Working closely with leaders and teams, you will help ensure our sites, vehicles and working environments are safe, well maintained and operating in line with WHS legislation, regulatory requirements and our high organisational standards. You will be supported by the broader Quality and Safeguarding team in delivering this work across the organisation.

This is a practical, visible role with regular time on site. You will partner with teams, identify risks early, coordinate follow through, and help ensure safe, sustainable ways of working across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate WHS systems and end to end incident and hazard management across multiple services, including reporting, investigations and corrective actions
  • Support compliance with all relevant WHS legislation, organisational standards and audit requirements
  • Partner with managers to facilitate multi site facilities maintenance, including planned and reactive works, site inspections and corrective actions
  • Oversee fleet coordination across the organisation, including servicing, registrations, maintenance follow up and recordkeeping
  • Support contractor compliance, emergency preparedness activities and practical risk management across service environments
  • Work closely with managers and frontline teams to strengthen practical safety culture, risk awareness and safe vehicle use across the organisation.

About You

You are an experienced WHS professional who is comfortable working across multi site service environments and who really enjoys working with people.

You have worked in community services, aged care, OSHC, health or a similar service setting and understand how WHS legislation applies in operational environments. You know how to balance standards with practicality, and how to build trust while still holding the line on safety and compliance.

You are organised, approachable and practical, and you work in a way that helps people feel supported while still keeping standards clear. You enjoy being out in the business, working alongside teams, helping managers navigate issues, and making safety a priority

You will bring:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a WHS, safety, compliance or facilities role
  • Proven experience in multi site community services, aged care, OSHC, health or similar environments
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and its practical application in community service based settings
  • Experience managing incidents, risk assessments, inspections and corrective actions
  • Experience overseeing facilities issues and fleet coordination across multiple sites
  • Confidence working with frontline teams, managers, contractors and other stakeholders
  • A current driver’s licence

Why join 3Bridges

This is a full time role with a hybrid structure, combining office, home and regular site based work across Central, Southern and South West Sydney.

You will join a supportive, values led organisation where safety, quality and community impact are taken seriously, and where practical, grounded work is recognised and valued.

Warm heart. Clear head. Strong standards.
