Save the Children Australia (SCA) is looking for experienced, flexible professionals to provide support to women, children and families across a number of our key programs in South East Queensland. SCA operates a number of refuge and outreach services that empower women and children escaping domestic violence to make their own choices free from the threat of violence. SCA also operates an Intensive Family Support (IFS) program in Brisbane that supports families with complex needs who do not meet the threshold for statutory intervention but require significant support to improve family wellbeing and reduce risk of harm to children. SCA works within a human and child rights and a child participatory approach and children are treated as individuals in their own right.

In these casual positions, you'll have the opportunity to work with one or several teams to deliver programs and services that promote positive approaches to parenting and family wellbeing. Working either in refuge or as part of mobile teams, you'll have options about where you'll be based, working across the Brisbane region with opportunities to deploy to other regions.
