Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven leader to join us as our Corporate & Community Engagement Manager on a parental leave contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing partnerships and community fundraising portfolio that directly supports families with seriously ill children across Victoria and Tasmania.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising & Marketing, you’ll lead corporate partnerships, community fundraising initiatives and McDonald’s stakeholder engagement — while mentoring and supporting a passionate team focused on delivering meaningful impact.

Who are we?

For more than 35 years, Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania has supported families with seriously ill children through accommodation, programs and services that keep families close to their child’s care.

Your impact

As Corporate & Community Engagement Manager, you’ll lead the strategy, delivery and growth of our corporate partnerships and community fundraising programs.

You’ll focus on:

  • Growing and retaining high-value corporate partnerships
  • Driving community fundraising and peer-to-peer engagement initiatives
  • Strengthening relationships across McDonald’s stakeholder networks
  • Leading and supporting a small, high-performing team
  • Delivering strong revenue outcomes aligned with organisational goals
  • Creating meaningful and engaging supporter experiences

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on relationship management and collaboration across fundraising, marketing and events teams.

What you’ll be doing

Corporate Partnerships & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, secure and grow strategic corporate partnerships
  • Develop tailored partnership opportunities aligned to supporter objectives and organisational impact
  • Manage and retain existing partnerships to drive long-term engagement
  • Monitor partnership performance, reporting and revenue outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated partnership experiences

Community Fundraising & Engagement

  • Oversee community and third-party fundraising initiatives
  • Support digital and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns
  • Build relationships with community groups, supporters and key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to diversify fundraising revenue streams
  • Ensure a high-quality supporter experience across all engagement touchpoints

McDonald’s Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with McDonald’s stakeholders and franchise networks
  • Support collaborative campaigns, activations and fundraising initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-team engagement strategies to maximise partnership impact
  • Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for ongoing growth and collaboration

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor and support the Corporate & Community team
  • Foster an engaged, collaborative and values-led culture
  • Support team development, performance and capability building
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure aligned delivery and communication

Who are you?

You’re an experienced partnerships, fundraising or stakeholder engagement leader who enjoys building genuine relationships and creating meaningful impact.

You bring:

  • Experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, account management or business development
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Proven ability to manage and grow strategic relationships
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategy and delivery
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach

Experience within the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded, but not essential.
