The role

Reporting to the Senior Manager and working closely with a team of highly skilled clinicians, your responsibilities will include the provision of high quality, culturally sensitive adult family violence counselling and therapy, including therapeutic work and targeted case management, where required. You will be able to apply your skills and expertise from a strengths-based perspective to provide trauma-informed and culturally appropriate short-term interventions and appropriate referrals for adults and children and reduce the re-traumatisation of women experiencing family violence.

This opportunity is located in Kew and is a permanent, part-time position, working three (3) days per week including one evening shift on a Wednesday.

About you

  • Degree qualified in family therapy, social work, counselling, or psychology.
  • Significant experience working with individuals and families, from strength-based perspective, in a setting relevant to the role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet timeframes and job-related expectations.
  • Understanding of MARAM Framework, Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme, and Child Information Sharing Scheme (advantageous).

The base salary range is $92k-$99k (pro-rata) per annum.
