What you’ll do
Provide therapeutic casework to current and former partners and families of Men’s Behavioural Change (MBC) program participants, supporting victim survivors of domestic and family violence. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to coordinated care, service delivery, and program development.
You will:
- Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic casework and advocacy to partners, families, and victim survivors
- Facilitate 'Women's Choice' group programs providing trauma-informed support to partners of MBC participants
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning, including risks to women, children, and families
- Manage client support from referral through to closure, including clinical and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, and contribute to service delivery, including groupwork where required

- Part-time working 3 days a week
- Based at Blacktown

What you’ll bring
- Experience in therapeutic casework, counselling, or community support, including work with women, children, and families impacted by domestic and family violence
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, risk assessment, safety planning, and working with complex needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and boundary-setting skills, with the ability to work effectively across services and teams
- Relevant qualifications (or working towards) in counselling, trauma, or related fields; with experience or interest in group facilitation and MBC practice highly regarded
