An exciting new! Position providing peer support to our Family Violence direct service delivery Team.

THE ROLE:

  • Overseeing direct service delivery to women and children who are experiencing family violence.
  • To support staff to meet program and agency goals and Service Standards.
  • Evidence a sound understanding of the Intersectional Feminist Framework practice.
  • Provide peer support to worker’s undertaking outreach services to victim-survivors.
  • Ensure program administration functions are completed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE — what you will bring:

  • Relevant experience within the family violence sector.
  • Previous experience in leadership or mentoring in the family violence sector.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in identifying, assessing and prioritising family violence risk.
  • Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |WWCC |Police Check
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Social Work (or related field) – refer to PD for further details.
