PWHC is seeking a Health Promotion Officer to support our centre health and wellbeing groups, community development and health education activities. The Health Promotion Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating funded health promotion, health education, community development and group-based activities that improve women’s health literacy, social inclusion, wellbeing and access to preventative health support. Working within the Health and Wellbeing Services team, the role works across PWHC’s broad client population, with a focus on priority populations, and is accountable for ensuring activities are planned, documented, delivered and reviewed in line with PWHC policy, contractual reporting requirements, internal documentation standards and continuous quality improvement principles.

PWHC is a Women's Health Centre, run by women for women and has supported women in the Penrith community since 1987. We provide support to women to enhance their health and wellbeing such as counselling, social activity groups & education as well as providing various support services to women experiencing domestic and family violence. PWHC has recently relocated to new premises in Union Road Penrith, The site has easy access to all-day public parking and public transport.
