Probus South Pacific Ltd is the support centre for 1,400 Probus Clubs around Australia and New Zealand, that provide opportunities for retirees and semi-retirees to connect, make new friends and enjoy a wide range of activities.

Social clubs like Probus provide a vibrant network of like-minded people who come together for community and companionship, promoting mental and emotional well-being by fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this pivotal role, you will be supporting the growth of the Probus family by forming new Probus Clubs, developing and implementing membership growth plans for existing Clubs, and developing and maintaining positive relationships with local membership teams and Club representatives.

We are seeking a passionate and driven Community Engagement Officer to join our team at Probus South Pacific Limited.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative, customer service, project coordination or community development roles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent customer service and engagement skills with the ability to build rapport and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to deliver complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve within a dynamic member-focused environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, particularly in relation to statistical reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using digital engagement platforms or social media.
• The ability to work without close supervision as part of a team; be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and keen to contribute ideas and collaborate in their implementation.

This is an office-based role in Parramatta.
