About the role

The Family Violence Clinical Lead will report directly to the Manager, Clinical Governance, and work as part of the NTV Clinical Team. The role has been developed to support the clinical governance and continuous improvement principles of No To Violence through the development, delivery and maintenance of men’s family violence sector specific training within the Men’s Referral Service (MRS) and NTV.

The role will entail:

  • Identify priority learning needs for the MRS team and develop and deliver training modules to support MRS team to deliver high quality service to clients.
  • Support the MRS team leadership in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and leadership.
  • Liaise with agencies in the recruitment of student placement/graduate programs.
  • Develop and maintain online training modules to support the induction of new clinical and non-clinical staff at NTV.
  • Provide advice and support to MRS team on the risk and safety management of high risk and/or complex client case presentations.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A social work degree or qualification in a related field or relevant experience
  • Certificate IV in Training Assessment and experience of delivering training within the family violence highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training package design, delivery, and assessment essential, with knowledge of learning management systems and online module developed highly desirable.
  • Specialist knowledge and skills and prior experience providing male family violence services
  • Demonstrated competency and experience in risk assessment and safety planning within the family violence, and organisational risk escalation practices
