Multicultural Connect Central Victoria is looking for a Community Development Facilitator to join our small, passionate team.

We're a community-led organisation working with multicultural communities across Central Victoria to create a region where everyone can belong, connect and contribute.

In this role you'll facilitate community programs, organise group activities, build relationships with local organisations and community leaders, and support projects that strengthen community capacity.

You'll be involved in:

• Facilitating our Homework Club for children from refugee backgrounds
• Facilitating our Driving School program for women from multicultural backgrounds
• Organising information sessions and community activities
• Building relationships with community groups, services and local partners
• Supporting community development projects and organisational activities

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with multicultural communities
• Holds a Diploma or Bachelor qualification in community development, community services or a related field
• Has strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
• Shares our commitment to community-led approaches and social justice

Fluency in Dinka, Hazaragi or Karen and existing connections within multicultural communities in Central Victoria are highly regarded.
