CASACV is a dynamic organisation offering a suite of specialist services to clients and community across the central Victoria region. We provide 24-hour crisis care support, therapeutic counselling, early intervention, professional education and training, and research. We provide outreach services across the Loddon region including a specialist service at Tarrengower Prison.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced person to lead the Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria (CASACV) Adults Counselling Team. The role provides to provide day to day operational and clinical leadership for the Adults Counselling Team in addition to leading group reflective practice with staff.
Located in Bendigo with travel and outreach requirements.
You hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy, Counselling or related discipline and have an understanding of the gendered nature of violence, and the impact of trauma on adults, young people and their families. You have demonstrated experience and leadership skills in managing teams delivering therapeutic services including clinical assessment, treatment, advocacy and therapeutic group work. You have strong clinical expertise and a highly developed understanding of trauma informed practice.
