About CASACV:

CASACV is a dynamic organisation offering a suite of specialist services to clients and community across the central Victoria region. We provide 24-hour crisis care support, therapeutic counselling, early intervention, professional education and research. We provide outreach services across the Loddon region including a specialist service at Tarrengower Prison.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced person to join the Centre Against Sexual Assault Central Victoria (CASACV) within the After-Hours Program, in a casual on call capacity, to provide crisis care response to children, young people and adults who have experienced a recent sexual assault. You will provide support, advice, information and coordination with Victoria Police, Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, and other professionals in the best interest of the client. The position primarily covers Bendigo with travel across the Loddon region as required.

The shifts are on a roster from 5.00 pm – 9.00 am on weekdays, and all day and night on weekends and public holidays.

About You:

You will hold a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, welfare, community development or related discipline and understand the gendered nature of violence.
