About the role

Operating within a region-specific business partnering model, you will play a critical role in enabling the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred services across the business.

You will build capability, coach operational leaders, and embed a culture of continuous improvement aligned with human rights principles.

This is a permanent, full-time position with some expectation of travel to service locations and based from an office in West Footscray or Moorabin (hybrid model).

What you will do

  • Practice Leadership: Partner with operational teams to embed rights-based approaches aligned with the NDIS Code of Conduct and Practice Standards.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Enable and ensure certification with relevant standards (NDIS, ISO 9001, Child Safety, ACIS).
  • Risk Management: Monitor incident and complaint data, contribute to risk registers, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory incident management frameworks.
  • Behaviour Support: Promote best practices in positive behaviour support, supporting systems related to Authorised Program Officers (APO).
  • Continuous Improvement: Support service teams with Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) based on data analysis, systemic trends and audit findings.

About you

You will be collaborative and outcome-focused with a strong background in quality systems and a passion for upholding the rights of individuals within the disability sector.

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Health, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field (or 5+ years of equivalent experience in Community/Social services). Certifications in Quality Management or process improvement experience are highly regarded.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a dedicated Quality role, utilising incident/feedback/risk management systems and coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Industry Knowledge: Operational knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding standards, human rights principles, and risk management and improvement methodologies. Understanding of Child Safe Standards helpful.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proven ability to deliver specialist advice and coach diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Suite) with strong analytical skills and experience compiling comprehensive reports.
  • Key Requirements: Ability to fulfill travel requirements across sites.
