About the role

  • Hastings location

The Family Violence Women and Children’s Counsellor will provide counselling support and group work for women, children and their families who have been exposed to or have been directly affected by family violence. This will be delivered both face to face and through using a variety of technologies. The span of working hours is from 7am-7pm and weekend work may be required.

About you:

  • Formal qualifications in psychology, counselling, family therapy or social work or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • A satisfactory Police Check
  • A current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • Proof of the right to work in Australia
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence
