Djirra’s Individual Support Services (ISS) team is on the frontlines of change, delivering compassionate, high quality support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their children who are experiencing family violence and at risk of further harm. We’re seeking a dedicated Intake and Assessment Worker to join us as a critical first point of contact—the person who connects women to safety, care, and pathways toward healing.
In this client-centred, trauma informed role, you’ll conduct initial needs assessments and family violence risk screenings, providing immediate support and connecting women to internal services (like our Koori Women’s Place, material aid, legal advice, and counselling) or external specialist providers.
