The Position: 

Anglicare Victoria (AV) is committed to quality across all dimensions of its operations and seeks to ensure that data and information management systems are integrated, effective, efficient and secure. The Quality & Risk Information Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the systems and tools remain fit for purpose and support the AV quality agenda. The integrated Quality & Risk Information System, currently includes RiskMan and its various modules. The system is key to meeting AV’s regulatory and statutory compliance requirements and is the major platform from which the AV manages, records and reports hazards, client and staff incident reporting, client feedback reporting, integrated risk management, legislative compliance and quality improvement activities.

This position is responsible for ensuring that the quality and risk information management system is adequately maintained, promoted, managed and developed in accordance with AV’s objectives and regulatory compliance requirements. This role will provide a key liaison with vendors to ensure appropriate support is provided to AV to continuously improve the system and remediate any issues.

The Quality & Risk Information Systems Administrator is also responsible for the efficient and timely training and support for AV staff, developing and dissemination of appropriate management reports to enable continuous improvement and for overseeing the quality of data input into the systems

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

  1. Demonstrated experience in managing/influencing staff and supporting people.
  2. Ability to work with and quickly understand a variety of information systems
  3. Experience with various modules of RISKMAN, particularly risk registers, incident reporting (client and staff). Client feedback and quality improvement strategies
  4. Demonstrated experience in training users in information management systems including the development of user guides and training resources that are replicable, systematised and efficient.
  5. Good written and oral communication skills, sufficient to engage the desired audiences and establish credibility across all levels of the organisation
  6. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with a diverse range of people roles and skills and an understanding of the privacy or personal information and confidentiality
  8. Willingness to travel and work in our regional offices to provide the necessary support, training and feedback.

Please Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
