The Aboriginal Family Legal Services (WA) aims to provide free, culturally secure legal support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims and survivors of family violence and/or sexual assault.

The Aboriginal Family Legal Services (AFLS) is seeking one (1) casual Independent Director who will provide guidance to the Board in their field of expertise, such as:

  • Legal experience including how community legal services operate
  • Financial management and corporate governance
  • Cultural leadership
  • Community Development
  • Understanding of Aboriginal Controlled Organisations
  • Understanding of how boards operate
  • Communication or marketing experience
