About the Position

We’re excited to welcome a Child Safe Organisation Lead to our Cultural Safety and Strategy team! In this impactful role, you’ll help shape a culture where every child feels safe, heard and valued—leading the embedding Child Safe Standards across everything we do. You’ll partner with leaders to strengthen systems, uplift practice and ensure we continue to protect and advocate for children and young people’s rights and voices every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead meaningful change by driving a strong, organisation-wide culture where child safety and wellbeing are always front of mind.
• Influence at the highest level by providing expert advice to the CEO, Executive team and Board on risk, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Make a lasting impact by developing and embedding Child Safe policies, frameworks and practices across diverse environments.
• Empower our people by leading training, guidance and initiatives that bring child safe standards to life in everyday work.

About You

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (Social Work, Allied Health, Community Services, Human Services, Law, Education) with professional registration (if required) and, a membership in a professional association (desirable).
• Equivalent experience in child safety, safeguarding, governance, compliance or a related field may also be considered.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
• Current driver’s licence.
