ACSO receives income from state and federal government and other sources, highlighting that ACSO’s operations are supported by various government contracts and partnerships. The organisation has pursued operational efficiencies and strengthened its internal controls that support program sustainability.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the CFO will play an influential role driving the strategic direction of the organisation to ensure financial sustainability and meet the desired growth trajectory. The CFO develops and assesses business strategy and goals supported by best practice risk and governance oversight.
The CFO builds and develops capability and talent across the finance, payroll, risk, compliance and facility functions to achieve delivery excellence and support collaborative internal business partnerships.
The CFO operates as a trusted adviser to the executive team and the board - bringing foresight, improved business decision making and an enterprise wide mindset.
This is an exceptional opportunity to support ACSO deliver impactful client services, drive change, and ensure sustainable growth as it operates 27 programs across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
You will be an accomplished financial services executive with a breadth of experience achieved in multifaceted organisations with the know how to work effectively at board level.
A strong understanding of good governance and risk frameworks and technology/systems fluency is expected.
You will have a reputation as a collaborative, values driven people leader who is driven to achieve whole of organisation uplift and builds talent and high performing teams.
An understanding of working with government contracts and procurement will be an advantage.
CPA / CA qualifications are expected.
