Westmont Aged Care Services Ltd are seeking a strategic and collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help grow our business through in an ever-changing Aged Care industry. To be successful this critical senior executive role will need to combine an understanding of strategic objectives, competent financial and capital management and strong stakeholder and people management.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer your primary responsibilities will include:
- Management of the finance team, overseeing the preparation of month-end & year-end financial reports
- Oversee the financial and capital planning and operational process and provide financial advice, direction and support for the Board, CEO and executive management team
- Financial analysis to support business objectives and effective asset management, including project and investment appropriations
- Support the CEO and Board with financial strategic plans, key performance indicators and goals
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and reporting process, costings and capital investments
- Liaise with external stakeholders with regard to Audit, Tax, banking, and oversee the integrity of financial information.
- Provide general management of all revenue derived from government and other funding sources and all resident and client means tested fees to maximise outcomes for Westmont.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified CA/CPA Finance Director or CFO, with experience in a medium to large organisation. Familiarity with the Aged Care sector is beneficial but not essential. You will also need to demonstrate:
- Robust and resilient character who can articulate an opinion on strategic matters, and support opinion and advice with analysis and data
- Willing to support and provide feedback to the CEO on strategic and operational matters
- A proven ability to drive organisational change, in a collaborative and constructive manner with all Department Heads
- The ability to produce meaningful financial analysis to guide business decision making and influence others at senior level
- Good people person as well as an excellent communicator with strong written and presentation skills
- Strong ethical and professional values including ability to demonstrate Westmont values
- Ability to operate in diverse cultural environments
- Knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation pertaining to business and prudential requirements and the Aged Care industry
- Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
This role is full time with an October start plan. Package is negotiable in the range $140-$150,000 dependent upon relevant skills, qualification and experience. Salary Packaging benefits are also offered.
Assessments:
As part of this role, you will need to undergo a police check, complete a fit for task assessment, be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and have the flu vaccination annually. You will also be requested to confirm your qualifications.
