About Women’s Health East

Women’s Health East is the women’s health promotion agency for Melbourne’s east. We improve health outcomes for women across the seven local government areas of Yarra Ranges, Knox, Maroondah, Manningham, Monash, Whitehorse and Boroondara, and influence women’s health and wellbeing at a statewide level.

Board of Governance vacancy

To be eligible to apply for Women’s Health East’s Board of Governance you must:

• Identify as a woman
• Be over the age of 18 years
• Live, work or study in Melbourne's eastern region, which includes the local government areas of the Yarra Ranges, Knox, Maroondah, Manningham, Monash, Whitehorse and Boroondara.
• Be a member of Women's Health East. Membership is free and you can join here.

We are seeking women who are passionate about or have worked in women’s health and have strong governance experience. Candidates who have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course or similar will be viewed favourably.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women with disability, women from culturally diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQ women including trans and gender diverse people who identify as women are strongly encouraged to apply.
