The Clifford Craig Foundation (the Foundation) is a charity dedicated to supporting residents of North and North-West Tasmania to access the best hospital and health care. Established in 1992, the purpose of the Foundation is to continually improve hospital and health services by funding and facilitating health promotion and translational research, health staff education and training, and the purchase of medical equipment and patient facilities.

about the role

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a new Chief Executive Officer who is inspired to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of the community by taking the Foundation to the next level of success and sustainability. Based in Launceston and working closely with the Board, the role will provide strategic, governance, operational and financial management to achieve the Foundation’s purpose and strategic goals.

The Chief Executive Officer will provide values-based leadership to a small high performing team and oversee fundraising activities and associated elements of marketing and communications to advance the profile and positioning of the Foundation within the North and North-West Tasmanian communities.

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a senior leadership role together with a background in marketing, communications and public relations. The role will suit an exceptional communicator and relationship builder with strong networking skills, business acumen and a sound understanding of finance. Exposure to fundraising would be an advantage.
