Bus Stop Films is excited to be able to bring on a Chief Financial Officer to assist us as we grow the organisation.

This role of the CFO will be to manage the financial budgets to provide strategic financial input to the CEO and COO whilst developing, improving and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the organisation.

We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, has strong attention to detail with over 10 years of experience within a senior financial management role and holds a Professional Designation (CPA, CMA or CA).

This is a part time role for 3 days.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Modelling

• Provide financial year forecasting and budgeting for the organisation
• Provide monthly financial reporting on the budget for the CEO and COO
• Identify risks and compliance needs for the organisation
• Preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports
• Works with the other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process
• Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas
• Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion

Accounts and payroll

• Improve on processes and systems currently in place that support payroll and invoicing
• Design and implement new processes and systems to support growth of accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain speed and accuracy of supplier payments, invoicing and payroll
• Management of student invoices and payment including debt recovery.
• Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required

Contracting

• Manage all contracts for new employees
• Manage all contracts for film projects
• Manage all wage reviews in alignment with Fair work

Grant Funding support

• Provide reporting on grant funding expenditure for the CEO

Other duties as reasonably required

• Administration support when required
• Other duties as requested
