About the role

The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for the coordination and development of internal and external communications for Yourtoolkit.com in alignment with the Marketing and Communications strategy.

Reporting to the Marketing and Product Growth Manager, this position works closely with internal and external teams to ensure content is delivered in a way that respects and responds to the needs of survivors.

This is a fast-paced opportunity to show your organisational, creative and human-centred communication skills. Your time will be balanced between collaborating with vendors and applying hands-on technical skills in content development, scheduling, and publishing of website content, video, social media, and other potential content formats.

This role is advertised part time, three to four days a week, with in office attendance expected Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, located close to Elizabeth Quay Station, Perth WA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the organisation’s content strategy into actionable content plans and schedules across channels.
  • Coordinate and manage external content creators, ensuring clear briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Close editing and application of brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all content outputs.
  • Act as a quality control checkpoint for all published materials, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Assist in content planning by identifying opportunities and audience engagement tactics.

About you

The ideal candidate can deliver a structured approach to content development, centring the requests of survivors and strengthening the brand's positioning.

  • Relevant qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency
  • Substantial experience (3-5 years) working with communications teams
  • Proficiency in a range of content production styles and software (videography, graphic design, website CMS)
  • Excellent eye for detail and written English skills
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness with the ability to engage diverse groups effectively
  • Lived experience expertise (highly valued)
