Remote / Work from Home
Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) is seeking a skilled and passionate Member Engagement Officer to support the delivery of our membership engagement activities. We welcome applications from individuals who can successful work in a job-share basis.
WWDA serves as the national Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) and National Women’s Alliance (NWA), advocating for the rights of women, girls, feminine-identifying, and non-binary people with disabilities across Australia.
In this important job-share role, you will support the coordination and delivery of WWDA’s member engagement activities, ensuring members are meaningfully engaged, informed, and able to contribute to WWDA’s work and priorities.
You will assist with managing the membership lifecycle, maintaining CRM data and member engagement and supporting the delivery of advisory mechanisms that encourage opportunities for engagement in WWDA policy work.
Working collaboratively across WWDA, you will help ensure members’ voices and lived experience inform our advocacy and organisational work.
This role is suited to a proactive and organised professional with strong relationship management skills, membership administration and the ability to work effectively in a remote workplace environment.
45.6 hours per fortnight (22.8 hours per week / 3 days per week)
To support effective collaboration within the job-share arrangement, you must be available to work either Monday or Tuesday to enable an overlap day with the other Job Share Member Engagement Officer. Remaining workdays can be agreed flexibly across Wednesday to Friday.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
We encourage applications from individuals with lived experience of disability, as well as women and gender-diverse candidates. We value diversity and are committed to fostering an accessible and inclusive environment that reflects the voices and experiences of all members of our community.
The successful candidate must obtain and maintain a Working with Vulnerable Persons check and a National Police check, and they may undergo a Job Access assessment (Employee Assistance Fund) in line with WWDA’s Working from Home Policy and OHS obligation.
Remuneration: This position is aligned with Level 3 of the SCHADS Award. Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and aligned with the budget for this position. Salary packaging is also available.
