Women’s Safety Services SA (WSSSA) is a leading South Australian provider of support services for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
The Domestic and Family Violence Safety Alliance (DFVSA) brings together 19 domestic and family violence services and programs across the state, alongside government partners, to work collaboratively in combining knowledge and experience to create a coordinated, coherent and “whole of system” approach to the provision of services across South Australia.
Safe at Home supports women and their children who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic and/or family violence to remain safely in their home. DFVSA are seeking a Program Coordinator, a newly-created role focusing on building the quality and impact of the Safe at Home program statewide.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your understanding of domestic and family violence and project management experience to coordinate and strengthen relationships and partnerships with partners across South Australia to deliver a vital program to victim-survivors.
Initially offered on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2025, working 45 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE) which can be negotiated and worked in a pattern that suits both you and DFVSA business. Employed by Women’s Safety Services, as the lead agency within the DFVSA Alliance, te position is accountable to the Alliance via the Alliance Senior Manager (ASM).
The role is based at the WSSSA head office, however other base locations in regional South Australia may be considered, subject to negotiation and the needs of the program.
