Tenancy Managers x2

Women's Property Initiatives

Help create safe homes and brighter futures for women and children.

At Women's Property Initiatives (WPI), we believe safe, affordable housing changes lives.

For more than 25 years, WPI has been providing secure homes for women and children at risk of or experiencing homelessness.  We are a specialist community housing provider and we are looking for experienced, compassionate, and motivated Tenancy Managers to join our team and make a genuine difference every day.

About the Role

This is far more than a tenancy management role.

As Tenancy Manager at WPI, you will support women to sustain safe and stable housing while building respectful, empowering relationships. You’ll manage a portfolio of brand-new homes and tenancies while working within a trauma-informed, strengths-based framework that recognises the complexity of women’s experiences.

You’ll be part of a passionate and values-led organisation where your work has visible social impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing residential tenancies and supporting positive tenancy outcomes
  • Building trusted relationships with women from diverse backgrounds
  • Supporting tenants experiencing vulnerability, housing stress, or complex challenges
  • Working collaboratively with support agencies and community partners
  • Ensuring compliance with tenancy legislation and community housing standards
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture

ABOUT YOU

You are someone who combines professionalism with empathy.

You understand that housing is more than a roof over someone’s head — it is the foundation for safety, wellbeing, and opportunity.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience in community housing, social housing, tenancy management, or human services
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A trauma-informed and client-centred approach
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • A commitment to social justice, inclusion, and gender equity

Experience working with women experiencing homelessness, family violence, or disadvantage will be highly regarded.

All applicants must have the right to work in Australia and will be required to complete a Police check. WPI has an Equal Opportunity exemption and invites women to apply.

Why Join WPI?

At WPI, you’ll join a dedicated team making meaningful change in the lives of women every day.

We offer:

  • Purpose-driven and rewarding work
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Salary packaging benefits and additional leave benefits
  • Professional development opportunities
  • A workplace committed to wellbeing, inclusion, and respect

Most importantly, you’ll be part of an organisation helping women build safer, more secure futures.
