Your new role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced executive assistant who wants to contribute to building a more gender-equitable society.

You will be a crucial support the CEO, working closely to enhance her effectiveness.

The responsibilities include:

  • Proactively manage the CEO’s schedule
  • Coordinating and preparing for the CEO's meetings and appointments
  • Preparing formatting and proofreading documents
  • Assisting with researching and gathering information
  • Planning and coordinating internal and external events
  • Providing Board secretariat assistance

This is a full time position.

What you’ll need to succeed

As an organised and professional executive assistant, you will be experienced in proactively supporting senior leaders and thrive in dynamic environments.

  • You take pride in your accuracy and eye for detail, as well as your superior organisation and coordination skills.
  • You have strong skills in the Microsoft365 environment (Teams, Sharepoint) and enjoy learning new technology tricks and tips.
  • You are skilled at building relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • You are flexible and able to problem solve, prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.

To improve outcomes for all women, with a specific focus on victim-survivors of family violence by:

  • Providing high quality legal services for Victorian women who are disadvantaged or marginalised by structural and systemic barriers​​​​​​​,
  • Assisting women and professionals that work with women, to better understand the law and navigate the legal system safely, and
  • Advancing gender equality by challenging unsafe and discriminatory policies and laws and informing and advocating for legal and policy initiatives that respect and promote the rights of women.
