WHOS Gunyah is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person for a full time AOD Community Service Worker role in our Men’s Program, Gunyah, based at Lilyfield NSW.
Through this role you will be able to provide:
- assessment, referral, and education,
- supervision and support to clients in a residential setting,
- a structured daily program,
- therapeutic interventions
TO BE CONSIDERED APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO AND MEET THE FOLLOWING SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or related field.
- Ability to work with clients that have AOD and associated conditions.
- Knowledge of the AOD sector,
- Work a rotating roster inclusive of day, evening and weekend shifts.
- Ability to facilitate groups.
- Ability to work within a residential treatment service.
- Understanding of harm minimisation strategies.
- Unrestricted driving license

Remuneration
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
- Salary packaging is available.
