The part you will play

As part of the Aboriginal Communities team you will work closely with the internal stakeholders/Community. Working on:

• Developing, implementing and advising on strategies relating to Aboriginal affairs and reconciliation.
• Internal cultural support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, and assisting all other employees to improve their understanding of how to create a culturally safe and welcoming environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and families.
• Implementation of the Aboriginal Action Plan.
• Support Council to create employment pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
• Supporting the Whittlesea Reconciliation Advisory Group.
