The Women’s Housing Company (WHC) Limited is a registered charity and Tier 1 Community Housing Provider managing over 1,200 properties, providing housing, accommodation, homelessness and support services for women and children in NSW.
Last year, we housed almost 2,200 women and children, as well as supported over 300 homeless women in our homelessness services. We have a particular focus on addressing the housing needs of older women, women with children, and women who have experienced domestic and family violence.

About the Role
The Fundraising & Marketing Manager leads innovative fundraising and marketing plans and programs for WHC. The role aims to empower and create real and lasting change in the lives of women by attracting, managing and growing relationships with the corporate sector, donors, Trusts, Foundations and other strategic partners.
This role will also support the CEO and Senior Manager, Partnerships and Growth with business development initiatives that involve innovation and strategic partnerships.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead the development and delivery of WHC’s Fundraising Strategy and provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board.
- Design and implement fundraising initiatives, including Her Voice, corporate volunteering, donor programs, and community engagement.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with corporates, high-value donors, and philanthropic organisations to grow WHC’s outreach.
- Identify funding opportunities through research and support innovative proposals and tender submissions.
- Maintain accurate records of supporter and stakeholder engagement in line with organisational procedures.
- Develop and execute social media and communications strategies to maximise fundraising and marketing impact.
- Ensure compliance with WHC policies and enhance fundraising effectiveness through policy development.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
- A strong commitment to addressing homelessness of women and children and older women.
- Experienced fundraising professional, result and solution driven with a particular focus on client service and satisfaction
- Experience in philanthropy, fundraising, corporate social responsibility managing major donor or corporate partner relationships
- Proven ability to build robust and enduring relationships and strong track record of securing funding with limited resources
- A team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and a good command of Microsoft Office application
- Mandatory National Police Check and willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights.
