The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for an experienced Director to take up a 12 month maternity leave position to lead the clinical and program operations within the Services network at cohealth.

We seek someone passionate about working with vulnerable communities, providing excellent clinical care and flexible to lead a dedicated group of health professionals. You are flexible and can create innovative solutions to providing quality services in a changing Covid environment.

The Role

The Network Director: Clinical and Practice Excellence is accountable for all programs and services within the Network ensuring their financial sustainability and effectiveness. The Director is responsible for ensuring programs and services are responsive to the diversity of cohealth clients and for keeping cohealth connected to local communities.

The Network Director leads a complex and significant suite of cohealth's programs and services including client-directed care program (My Aged Care and NDIS), clinical (medical and oral health) services, and programs targeted to people who are affected by family violence and people engaged through the justice system. Programs within the Network operate in four clusters.

The Director leads program growth while ensuring program performance is optimal and clients receive the best possible service responses. The Director ensures that programs and services effectively manage demand and, in the case of client directed care, reach new markets while remaining financially viable. The Director ensures an intelligent approach to the identification and management of risk as well as to the application of technology and design of business processes within the Network.

The Director effectively leads and supports change including as cohealth transforms its business and service delivery models to contemporary, values-based models of healthcare practice. The Director assures alignment of workforce resources and talent with organisational and Network priorities and builds within the Network a resilient and professional culture based on collaboration, innovation and a focus on quality and evidence-based practice.
