Case Manager - Women's Outreach Program

wayss is seeking a Case Manager – Women’s Outreach Program (WOP) to provide specialist, trauma‑informed support to women experiencing or at risk of homelessness, often alongside family violence, mental health challenges, or other forms of disadvantage.

This outreach‑based role focuses on building trust, strengthening safety, and supporting women to navigate housing and support systems in ways that respect their choices, lived experience, and individual strengths.

About the Role

As a Case Manager in the Women’s Outreach Program, you will:

  • Deliver intensive, flexible outreach case management to women with complex needs
  • Build strong, respectful relationships through person‑centred and gender‑responsive practice
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and safety planning
  • Support access to housing pathways, health, legal, and community services
  • Advocate with service systems to improve outcomes and remove barriers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team planning and reflective practice
  • Work collaboratively with internal programs and external partners

What You’ll Bring

You will bring:

  • Experience supporting women experiencing homelessness, family violence, or complex disadvantage
  • A strong understanding of trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and feminist practice
  • Knowledge of housing systems, homelessness pathways, and referral networks
  • Excellent engagement, communication, and advocacy skills
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a supportive team environment
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, community services, or a related discipline

Experience in outreach‑based services or women‑only programs is highly valued.

This role requires a current Driver’s Licence and valid ‘Employment’ category - Working with Children Check Card. The candidate will need to have successfully completed wayss pre-employment screening, including a police check.
