The Senior Project Officer, CEADH and NDQAC is integral to providing support on the Centre of Excellence Aboriginal Digital in Health (CEADH) and Nindedana Quarenook Aboriginal Corporation (NDQAC) projects. This role is varied in that you will be using the experience and skills gained working on previous projects to provide support to the Director, Transition and Systems Development on the CEADH and NDQAC work programs.
Activities and work tasks will include establishing and maintaining systems of governance, associated project work plan implementation, reporting requirements, stakeholder engagement activities, and operational coordination tasks across both programs.
The Centre of Excellence for Aboriginal Digital Health (CEADH) is a national Aboriginal-led collaborative partnership focused on advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander digital in health. The person appointed to this role will be responsible for maintaining the governance framework for the CEADH secretariat, including arranging meetings, assisting with preparing agenda papers and minutes, and working closely with the VACCHO communication team to prepare content for the CEADH website and social media. You will also have experience arranging & facilitating workshops and coordinating events (including, from time to time any associated regional and interstate travel as required).
VACCHO is working in collaboration with NDQAC to re-establish a locally governed Aboriginal health service for the Morwell and broader Central Gippsland Aboriginal community. The person appointed to this role will be working closely with VACCHO’s Director, Transition and Systems Development and a broader Foundations and Innovations Team to support the “Nindedana Quarenook Transition Working Group” reestablish ACCO services and activities within the Latrobe Valley region.
To be successful in this role, you will be competent in managing competing priorities, have exceptional organisational and time management skills and be comfortable operating in an environment of change.
You will bring excellent stakeholder relationship building and problem-solving experience while operating in a high functioning VACCHO team along with senior leads in peer organisations. Success in this role will be bringing a proactive approach to your work and moving at the pace of trust across a range of projects and work activities.
