UNITED WORKERS’ UNION

We are seeking an experienced communications professional to own the communications, media, and marketing strategy of our diverse and dynamic trade union.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the national elected leadership team of an organisation that lives its values through its day-to-day work.

The Communications department at the UWU tells and amplifies member stories, intervenes in, and leads public debates, influences politics and civil society, and builds its power through its members’ action, brand, marketing, and reach.

You’ll be leading a large and passionate team with a full suite of in-house communications functions.

This position supports flexible ways of working. We encourage a balance of working in the office and remotely and we believe this enables our people to do their best work.

This role can be based out of Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
