At Uniting, we believe that families are stronger when they are supported, heard and empowered.
Our Families Together program walks alongside children, parents and carers facing complex challenges, helping them build safer homes, stronger relationships and brighter futures. We partner with families experiencing issues such as domestic and family violence, mental health concerns, alcohol and other substance use, and parenting challenges, providing intensive, strengths-based support that helps children remain safely at home.
Right now, we're looking for an experienced and compassionate Caseworker who wants more than just a job.
As a Families Together Caseworker, you'll become a trusted support person for families navigating some of life's most difficult circumstances.
You'll work intensively with parents, carers and children over an extended period, building strong relationships and helping families identify goals, overcome barriers and create sustainable change. Through regular home visits, advocacy, safety planning and practical support, you'll help families develop the confidence, skills and resilience needed to thrive.
Working to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice brings its own rewards, but there’s more.
Please contact Belinda Condon from Uniting’s Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions or enquiries – [email protected] using the subject line: Case Worker - Families Together - Wollongong enquiry via EthicalJobs.
