Thrive Services is seeking a Family & Community Engagement Worker who is passionate about building relationships within the community and has a commitment to empowering families.
Thrive Services is a not-for-profit organisation that supports children, families & communities living in the Blue Mountains and Lithgow areas. At Thrive we believe in celebrating people’s achievements and strengths, as well as supporting them through the challenges of parenting and life. Our focus is on early intervention and prevention support that aims to strengthen families and enhance life opportunities for children and their families.
Grounded in a community development approach, the Family & Community Engagement Worker plays a key role in strengthening connections with families and fostering trust, inclusion and belonging in the community. You will create welcoming pathways into support by building relationships with families, schools and community organisations, assisting with intake and referrals, and supporting community engagement activities. The role also coordinates Thrive’s DRIVE Program, supporting women to build driving skills, confidence and independence.
