We are a leading and long-standing Early Parenting Centre in Victoria with a proud history and commitment to strengthen the lives of babies, toddlers and their families. Tweddle is a registered public hospital with its head office located in Footscray offering a range of early parenting programs including residential, day long and sessional groups at our main campuses at Footscray and Wyndham and community programs in Barwon Region.

We are looking for an Early Parenting Practitioner (Hopes) to deliver our western region targets on a fixed term basis from April 2026 to October 2026. Note: This role can be based at Footscray or Werribee.

What you’ll DO

The role will contribute to the care team planning approach by contributing to and supporting tailored interventions that best meet the needs of babies, toddlers and their families in the home.

HoPES is an 8-week home-based intensive parenting program for families with children aged 0-4 years, who are currently involved with DFFH and/or family services in a case management capacity. The program aims to support family preservation and reunification with a focus on family strengths, connection and the parent-child relationship.

What you’ll bring

  • Do you have a Diploma level qualification in Nursing, Children Services, Early Childhood Development, Youth Work or degree in Social Work or Psychology?
  • Do you have experience in working with families experiencing multiple and complex issues?
