As the Specialist Family Violence Practitioner - Intake and Assessment, you will be an integral part of the crisis response team for victim-survivors in VincentCare's Marian Community. You will be the first point of contact for victim survivors, prioritising their voice and choice through initial service entry. You will contribute to a 24/7 on-call roster, supporting a complex caseload and provide targeted support to clients who require assistance for domestic and family violence.

To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, or other equivalent qualifications/experience as outlined in Recommendation 209.
You will have an in-depth understanding of the intersectionality in family violence, and the nature, dynamics and impact of family violence across a broad range of familial relationships. You have a genuine passion for supporting people and your warm and empathetic demeanour will forge strong professional relationships with a variety of individuals.
