Op Shop Retail Coordinator

The Retail Sales Coordinator will help to create an excellent shopping experience for all customers by maintaining a high level of professional and friendly customer service. Duties include receiving donations, sorting, pricing, selling, restocking, processing payments and visual merchandising.

The goal of the Retail Sales Coordinator is to:

  • Provide excellent customer service and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for people from all walks of life.
  • Promote the work of St Kilda Gatehouse in the community and ensure customers have a positive experience when they connect with us.

The role includes assisting in supporting our cohort of St Kilda Gatehouse women, who access the shop for a range of reasons including emergency relief, volunteering, social inclusion, and craft group. The position will involve the oversight of volunteers in the absence of the Manager, ensuring retail sales and targets are achieved and all shop processes and procedures are followed.

There may be the opportunity to contribute to our Greeves Street Voices programme.
