About the Role
Starick is seeking a Business Services Officer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking the day-to-day administration of the organisation's properties, assets, fleet, equipment and related business support functions.
The role provides practical operational support across all Starick service locations by coordinating maintenance activities, managing asset and fleet records, facilitating contractor engagement, supporting IT asset administration, and maintaining systems and documentation that underpin effective service delivery.
The role operates across multiple service locations, including refuges, outreach sites and business sites, and requires regular attendance at those locations to coordinate property, asset and maintenance activities and respond to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day administration of Starick's properties, assets, fleet, equipment and business support functions.
- Provide operational support across all Starick service locations, including refuges, outreach sites and business offices.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs and servicing to ensure facilities remain safe, functional and well-maintained.
- Manage and maintain asset, fleet and equipment registers, records and documentation.
- Liaise with landlords, contractors and external service providers to arrange maintenance, inspections and works.
- Facilitate contractor engagement, including scheduling, monitoring and record-keeping.
- Support the administration and tracking of IT assets, equipment and related resources.
- Maintain records relating to asset maintenance, servicing, warranties and repairs.
- Coordinate and administer organisational insurance matters, including maintaining policy records, facilitating renewals, supporting claims processes and liaising with brokers and insurers.
- Provide operational and administrative backup support across business services functions, including reception phone coverage, monitoring and responding to shared inboxes, and other administrative tasks as required.
