The National Community Hubs Program (NCHP) model is a proven place-based and people-centred way of building connections and social and economic capital within culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Hubs are embedded in primary schools and help bridge the gap between families and the wider community. They connect families with each other, with their school, and with local services and support.
The Community Hubs Support Coordinator plays a key role in delivering the National Community Hubs Program in Coffs Harbour, supporting culturally and linguistically diverse families, particularly mothers with young children, to connect, share, learn and participate in community life. Working within a partnership between Settlement Services International (SSI), local schools and Community Hubs Australia (CHA), the role supports Hub teams, strengthens connections with local services and national networks, and oversees program quality frameworks to ensure culturally responsive, locally tailored and effective support for families and communities.
