Settlement Services International (SSI Group) is a community-based organisation and social business that supports newcomers and Australians to achieve their full potential. Our programs include facilitating employment, multicultural foster care, creating community engagement, advocacy, and influencing government and international affairs and provide though leadership within our sector nationally and globally.
The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation delivers a Statewide Multicultural Service which supports community-led initiatives that aims to prevent and reduce gambling harm, providing alternative recreational activities, reducing the stigma of gambling harm and encouraging people experiencing gambling harm to seek support and The Multicultural Foster Care (MFC) Program provides a range of services to assist children and young people who have been found to be in need of care and protection to meet their permanent care plan needs - safety, stability and well-being through a culturally aware and responsive lens.
The Community Engagement Facilitator will work across both functions which are the Gambling Prevention Program where you will provide CALD communities with much needed in-language information on gambling harm and interventions including therapeutic counselling and the Multicultural Foster Care Program includes facilitating training and education sessions on the child protection system & what role CALD community members can play to ensure connection to culture.

To succeed in this role; ideally you will have the following skills & experience:
Successful candidates will be required to travel across the Melbourne metropolitan area and some regional (if applicable) areas; and maintain flexible hours (including evenings) to be able to attend required meetings/sessions.
