Media Releases - One Door Mental Health

Your Impact

You will provide senior external leadership across NSW for Mind Australia and One Door Mental Health, acting as a senior executive delegate across key government, health and community relationships.

This is a focused, high-trust role where influence matters more than volume. You will ensure the organisations are positioned as providers of choice across priority system partners, while translating relationships into practical service and growth opportunities and supporting a structured transition of key relationships over the fixed term.

The Role

You will manage a prioritised portfolio of key NSW relationships, including NSW Health, Local Health Districts and Primary Health Networks.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations and working closely with the COO for NSW, you will align external engagement across operational and strategic priorities, while maintaining clear boundaries from the Government Relations function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stewarding 10–15 senior strategic relationships
  • Converting relationships into service pathways and opportunities
  • Identifying emerging sector and funding opportunities
  • Providing insight into the NSW mental health landscape
  • Ensuring alignment across operations, Government Relations and sector engagement
  • Building structured handover and continuity plans

The Organisation

Mind Australia delivers psychosocial support, NDIS and community mental health services nationally. In NSW, services are delivered through One Door Mental Health, a trusted and established brand across government and sector partners.

What You Bring

You bring senior experience in partnerships, stakeholder engagement or external leadership within the NSW health or community sector, with strong networks across government, LHDs and PHNs.

You are politically astute, are able to combine executive presence with sound judgement and operate effectively within complex, matrixed systems.

Most importantly, you can turn trusted relationships into tangible outcomes, with a focus on quality of influence over activity volume.
